ZHENG Shan Shi鄭善禧（b. 1932）

生於福建漳州，自小喜色彩濃艷、線條流暢的民俗藝術，常在空暇時到戲台、廟宇觀看匠師雕神像、漆門神，為之後的鄉土風格打下了基礎。其畫作融合民間藝術與文人畫風，使他的作品既有民間的華麗也有古樸雅致的文人風骨，創作題材多變，尤喜寫生，在師大求學與出國時，受到西洋繪畫色彩的衝擊，引領他突破傳統水墨與黑白藩籬。由於經常出入山林，他發現臺灣山形地貌與中國大陸有明顯的差異，而非傳統國畫的紙上雲煙，於是將身歷其境的親身感受，畫出了渾圓不峻、翠綠的「臺灣山」，畫出了臺灣風味的中國畫，除了山水畫之外，鄭善禧師法齊白石，將民間藝術融入畫作中，所畫皆是眼前所見及生活感受，趣味橫生，雅俗共賞。
